Restrain BISE from declaring Matric results, LHC pleaded

Lahore:
A writ petition has been moved in the Lahore High court to stop announcement of upcoming results of matriculation examination all over Punjab as the question papers given to students in the examination contained hundreds of mistakes in objective section.
Muhammad Arshad, a teacher at Sheikupura Islamia High School, filed the petition through his counsel Zahid Hussain advocate. The teacher-petitioner submitted that there were 109 mistakes in the ‘Objective Type’ part of various papers of the Board of Intermediate and secondary education (BISE) Lahore and students suffered a lot due to the mistakes in the objective papers.

Court moved against two holidays in schools

LAHORE: All Pakistan Private Schools Alliance, through its president, on Wednesday moved the Lahore High Court against two weekly holidays in schools following the energy conservation policy of the government.

Petitioner Muhammad Sadaqat Ali through his counsel submitted that the government copied the western culture by announcing two weekly holidays, particularly in schools.

Danish Schools to promote quality education

LAHORE:

Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that Danish Schools will not only help promote quality education in the backward areas but they will also result in poverty alleviation, ensuring dignity and respect of students.
He stated this while presiding over a meeting held to review the pace of implementation of Danish Schools and Centres of Excellence projects here on Thursday.
